Our overall objective is to create an optimal enviornment that promotes tissue healing and recovery from injury or surgery. This is accomplished by implementing the following methods:

1. Specialized “hands on” techniques performed by licensed physical therapists. These manual techniques are an advanced level of physical therapy training focusing on decreasing pain, reducing muscle guarding or tension, eliminating joint inflammation, and improving joint motion.

2. Specialized equipment to provide the proper joint alignment and body positioning.

3. Supervised and properly dosed medical exercises that match your tissue injury or movement dysfunction. As you improve, your exercise program will be progressed to fit the needs for coordination, retraining motor patterns, balance, coordination, endurance, and strength.

4. Patient education to teach proper biomechanics and self care during and after rehabilitation.

5. Implementation of specific nutritional guidelines and protocols for optimal tissue regeneration;

6. Regular communication with referring physicians through verbal and written reports that accurately describe the patients’ progress;

7. Transition into an independent fitness program after completing your physical therapy goals.
